Are we aware of our war heroes?

I love playing the game  "Guess the person" with my daughter Sahaja  . One person has to think about a great personality and the other person has to guess the name within ten questions . It was my chance and i could not guess the name within the stipulated questions . After making me accept defeat she revealed the name "Som nath Sharma " .

I was irritated and rebuked her : " You are supposed to think of only famous personalities . Who the hell is this chap , Som nath Sharma ?"

She replied : ...

Mr R Seshasayee , Excellence powered by Clarity , Integrity , generosity and simplicity

I had heard  many good things about Mr R Seshasayee , MD Ashok Leyland and President CII . To me it sounded too good to be true . Looked as if he was an ideal human being .

I approached him to write few words on GIVE ME BACK MY GUITAR  . To be frank , i never really expected him to respond . You can imagine my exhilaration when he gave a very positive feedback on the book and kindly consented to write the foreword .

After the book was released , i personally went to Chennai to thank ...

Subroto Bagchi , A great human being who is also an outstanding entrepreneur
I have personally followed most of his articles and have read them with a lump in my throat when he shares his childhood and also about his parents who were probably poor but extremely rich in values . " Go kiss the world" remains my all time favorite speech by anyone .

I greedily grabbed this book when i first saw it in landmark . I have read and reread this most wonderful book " The High Performance Entrepreneur - Golden rules for success in today’s world - Subroto Bagchi . Mr Bagchi has the moral authority to write this "valuable book " ...

The art of "Personal energy management"
The Art Of Personal Energy Management , An article by Simran Bhargava .

A long time back I had interviewed a man named William Davis. He was then chairman of the British Tourist Authority and had earlier been editor of The Guardian and Punch. He was an unusual man. He had grown up homeless during the war and then gone on to build himself a collection of showpiece homes all over the world. He had never been formally educated but had written a dozen books, mostly on the hedonistic pleasures of money. He had become a multi-millionaire who, by his own ...

Feedback on "Give me back my Guitar" by Subhash Dhar , VP CSP, Infosys

Fascinating subject! The stories are highly inspiring and the conversational treatment that includes ravi's family is rather refreshing. That helps greatly in bringing out relevance to modern times which is the real value of this book.

The book presents a brilliant take on life and would serve as a helpful guiding post for so many of us who are grasshoppers trapped in ant's life. Obviously we have to find our very own guitars ourselves and then find ways to make them our source of both work and enjoyment.
